Graduation Party Ideas: Belly Dancers, Samba, Polynesian, Oh My!

We are approaching that time of year again when successful grads deserve our congratulations and festivities. But with so many graduation parties going on at the same time, how can you make your grad’s as special as they are? To me the obvious answer is with a dance show! And we have several shows perfect for backyards, around a pool and other less than ideal spaces.

First up is always belly dance, the tried and true favorite of crowds, honestly what isn’t there to love? You could gorgeous sparkly costumes, custom made for us by our couturiere in Istanbul, tons of props to choose from including led and fire options, graceful entrances with wings, daring sword balancing, energetic drum solos and of course getting the guests up to dance. Of course if you want to take you show to another level we can also add fire props and additional dancers. Our first of its kind fire headdresses, fire swords and fire palms all performed in group or solo shows. Bellydance is a perfect addition to any event and ideal for families of all ages.

Next is another favorite and perfect especially for the fun loving grad and that is a Samba show. Bring the joy and energy of carnival to your graduation party! Not just gorgeous feather headdresses and costumes, but we also offer a fully choreographed stage show to showcase the variation and energy of samba! We begin with our 2 tone led glowing wings for the entrance and do a non stop carnival show for you, right when you think it is over we get you and your guest into the act, teaching simple steps, dancing doing limbo and conga lines to get even the most reluctant up to dance!

Finally is the summer staple and great not just for graduation parties but any summer pool party or BBQ and that is our Polynesian show! With our modern fire props we add an edge to our traditional choreographies as we give you tour across the Polynesian Islands. Our show includes a grand entrance in full grass skirts and headdresses followed by traditional and modern Tahitian and Hula dances as well as an optional fire portion featuring fire eating, fire palms and fire poi. All our shows are fully choreographed and offer gorgeous costume changes to highlight each dance. To add even more excitement to your event you can even add our fire knife dancer.
