With the temperature rising, it is just a natural to make your next party by the pool or in the backyard. What better way to stay cool and enjoy South Florida's tropical weather? But just the pool and friends, while great, can feel a little lacking and monotonous after a while, so what better way to add some excitement to your backyard parties than to throw in some Polynesian Entertainment? Sirens Dance Collective offers family friendly Polynesian shows to make your next pool party an instant luau!
What is Polynesian dance anyways? Polynesian, literally many islands, is the term used to explain the archipelago south of Australia stretching towards Southeast Asia. This includes Hawaii and Tahiti as well as Tonga, Maori and several other cultures as well. Each area has dances unique to their island and culture. In our Polynesian show we focus mainly on Hawaiian and Tahitian dances with some fun, modern twists with fire dancing added in. Our shows feature an exciting Tahitian entrance, romantic hulas, exhilarating Tahitian o'teas and more. Our girls can also perform a variety of fire props including fire palms, fire eating, fire headdress, fire poi and fire fans. For a more traditional feel we also have a male fire knife dancer.
The show isn't just performance though, we get you and your guests involved as well! We will teach you basics hulas that you will catch on in no time! Dancing not your thing? We can also host a variety of party games such as limbo, conga lines, hula hoop contests and anything else you can think of!
Kids aren't neglected either! Besides the whole show being entertaining for the whole family, we also have the option of adding a special visit from Moana to any party. Moana can hang out with kids, host games, teach them dances or even dance with the troupe! We also have Tiki Mermaids who can swim or perform with fire who will delight children and adults alike!
